Mobilising for Justice in Belarus

Aliaksei Keral, a lawyer of the specialized legal advice in Minsk on civil and economic law, was expelled from the Minsk City Bar Association on November 4, 2021 for committing a disciplinary offense, expressed in violation of the requirements of the legislation on administrative offenses incompatible with the title of a lawyer.

The basis for the decision of the Disciplinary Commission was the bringing of a lawyer to administrative responsibility under Art. 24.23 of the Code of Administrative Сщву (in the old edition - Art. 23.34), violation of the organisation or holding of mass events, in November last year.

Keral also was an attorney in multiple administrative cases against demonstrators.
